Room block at the Radisson Hotel Research Triangle Park offering the federal government per diem rate of $89 plus taxes for all the attendees for the two nights (check in on Sunday, November 6 and check out on Tuesday, November 8). In addition, the hotel will be offering free shuttle transporation to/from RDU to the hotel, hotel to the meeting venue (NC Biotech Center) and the venue to RDU on Tuesday.

Shuttle Information

Upon arriving at RDU International Airport, there is a courtesy phone in the baggage claim area. Please phone the hotel upon arrival to arrange a pick up from the airport. The phone rings directly to the hotel’s front desk where a guest service agent will answer and advise you where to wait and provide an approximate wait period. The Radisson is 4 miles from the airport.

Once at the hotel, guests are encouraged to arrange transportation to and from the NC Biotech Center.

Monday morning departures will be scheduled at 7:30 and 7:50 am. Guests should come down to the lobby in the mornings (approximately 5 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time) and advise the front desk they are there for the shuttle to the NC Biotech Center. There will be a similar system in the evenings for return to the hotel.

Tuesday morning departures will be scheduled at 7:45 and 8:05 am.

On the day of check out on Tuesday, guests can arrange their own shuttle transportation to RDU. You can either check out and leave your luggage at the front desk and ask that it be taken along to NC Biotech Center when picked up to go to RDU. Or you can bring luggage with you and store it at the NC Biotech Center, or leave luggage and return to the hotel to retrieve it or even request a late check out which is subject to availablity and upon request at the front desk (in certain circumstances there may be a charge).
